Summary: The chilled margins of the pillows display from the margin inward: glass, glass with isolated spherulites, coalesced spherulites and plumose clinopyroxene coalesced with plagioclase in sheaf textures. Chilled dyke margins show: glass, cryptocrystalline texture, spheruloids, coalesced radial-rim spheruloids, coalesced spherical to bow-tie spherulites and plagioclase sheaves with interstitial plumose clinopyroxene.
